Autel IM608 XP400 Pro Program BMW EWS3 Key Success

 Although BMW EWS is a very easy job can be done by cheap AK90 at $30, it is just nice to know Autel MaxiIM can do EWS3 if happens to have it in hand.

Which Autel can do?
Autel IM608/IM608Pro + XP400 Pro
*XP400 cannot read/write EWS3. Require XP400Pro.

What adapter to use?
Ews3 adapter (APB114 EWS3 adapter board) the tool tells you what to connect the wire to
APB114 EWS3 adapter is included in IMKPA Accessories (Needs to Buy IMKPA Accessories Separately).

I have the ak90 I just choose to do it this way and it worked out a whole lot easier and faster






FYI: IM608 does EWS4 as well. Doesn’t require EWS4 adapter, direct read and write.

Mercedes W204 All Keys Lost by Autel IM608 + GBOX + XP400 Read Password

k line of the gbox to the connector of the elv and relay of the gbox to the module Sam striker fuse 27 I think I remember and the gbox connected to the port obd2 of the car comes explained the scheme of connections

2 goes to fuse in front sam fuse 27 and the other wire red goes to pin KLine on ELV connector

How to Use Autel MaxiIM 608 to Detect Vehicle Remote

How to Use Autel MaxiIM IM608 to Detect Vehicle Remote
Tap Remote Detection from the menu, the function menu displays.

Put the key into suitable area and press down any key button. The screen displays the frequency of the key.

Tap Read out remote information to check the information.

Read BMW EDC17C50 ISN Code from DDE using Autel IM608 & G Box

Managed to read 2017 BMW F-series DDE8 edc17c50 isn code in boot mode using Autel MaxiIM IM608 & g box.
Note: Autel G box is used to program Mercedes all keys lost and read BMW ISN code with IM608/IM508.
Procedure:

Remove the engine ECU module from the vehicle and open the engine ECU housing
In IM608, select IMMO->European->BMW->System Selection->Engine->Direct->Boot->F-Chassis->Bosch->TC1797 EDC17C50








(Autel IM608 will read EDC17C41, EDC17C56, EDC17CP09, EDC17CP45, EDC17CP49, MEVD17.2, MEVD17.2.4, MEVD17.2.6, MEVD 17.2.6, MEVD 17.2.8, MEVD17.2.9 etc Bosch ECUs)
System will show you operation steps.

Check wiring diagram and make good connection


Connect the boot punctuation of the chip part and the DB15 harness boot line in the wiring diagram
Connect the engine ECU interface to the DB15 harness according to the engine ECU interface punctuation in the wiring diagram
Connect the DB15 harness to the G-BOX, then connect the P terminal of the G-Box to the J2534 ecu adapter. Connect the 12 DC terminal of the G-Box to the 12V adapter



Then select Read ISN

Reading memory data in process

Save data

Extract engine ISN code succeed.

After completing the function, restore the engine ECU Scanner to its original state.
Done.
